I thought having a specific women’s fit bag would be the best I could get until I tested this backpack. I can see and feel the effort put into designing for larger bodies when wearing it. I am comfortable when carrying my gear & the bag has all the elements needed for my outdoor pursuits. One of my favourite elements was the adjustable back length, the shortest length fit me well, sat close to my body while being breathable & comfortable. I didn’t need to fiddle or adjust the pack after putting it on which was very welcomed.

What I got in the bag:
- Waterproof coat & trousers
- Fleece
- Hydration reservoir
- Gloves
- Sit mat
- Map & Compass
- Lunchbox
- Flask
- Walking pole
- Phone/wallet/keys
- Snacks & binoculars (in hip pockets)

*Note: gear packs down differently, you could get more or less into the bag.

As you can see, I’m able to carry gear suitable for walks from Spring through to Autumn in the UK.

I noticed that the lower back pain I’d gotten used to hiking was absent when using this bag which will be much better for my body & enjoyment of hikes! This bag has been my go to for day hikes & I can feel the thoughtful design elements when I am wearing it. From not having to remove the pack all the time to get to my binoculars or snacks to the extra mesh pockets for maps, flasks & sit mats. Whilst the bag doesn’t come with a rain cover the DWR treated fabric turns water well & if preferred you could purchase one for peace of mind.

My measurements: 140cm bust, 127cm waist & 158cm hips.

RRP £130
