Our Supporters
We’re really grateful to work with a number of retailers, brands and organisations who are supporting the work that we do, allowing us to continue the work we’re doing in the industry and grow the Every Body Outdoors community.
Alpkit Foundation
The Alpkit Foundation have helped support our second round of training regional volunteers by funding us to train and support volunteers in Scotland.
The work of the foundation is focused on breaking down barriers to the outdoors, and 1% of all Alpkit sales go to the Foundation. The foundation has previously supported bursary places on our Intro to Hill Skills courses.
Cotswold Outdoor
Cotswold Outdoor are one of the partners of our regional groups programme, supporting us to train up our regional volunteers and run walks around the country.
They are also supporting our Kit Pool, donating items from brands stocked in their stores, and providing funding for us to take it to different events around the country.
Komoot
We are working with Komoot to create collections of walks that are graded and appropriate to our community. With their support, we are training up our regional volunteers to use Komoot to share routes in advance of local Every Body Outdoors walks, and to create regional banks of routes that our community can access.
We will also be collaborating on some special events during the year so keep an eye on our social channels for more info!
Millimetres to Mountains
Through their Community Grants Programme, Millimetres to Mountains are supporting us to train up new regional volunteers in Wales to support and expand our regional groups programme.
This is in line with their wider work around breaking down barriers to the outdoors, and helping people experience the physical and mental health benefits the outdoors can bring.
Osprey
We are proud to be an Osprey Community Group, and have worked with them since 2023. As part of this arrangement, we feedback on their extended fit products, and tell them the items our community most want to see.
Their sponsorship and support allows us to continue to run events, regional walks and so much more!
Sport England
Through their Small Grants programme, funded by the National Lottery, Sport England have funded us to expand our regional groups programme in England by training a second round of regional volunteers, and providing ongoing support and training to our existing volunteers.
YHA
The YHA have provided support both for our training courses and regional groups through their Outdoor Citizens programme and Festival of Walking.
By providing free accommodation in hostels and additional funding, this has allowed us to offer subsidised and affordable places on our courses.
Previous Supporters
These are some of the partners who have supported our work in the past
Berghaus
Berghaus supported our community between 2023-24 by providing funding to allow the development and ongoing support of our regional groups.
We also supported them to do engagement work with members of our community to understand their needs in the outdoors.
We also feel it’s important to acknowledge that the work we’re doing is building on momentum from the USA, spearheaded by Jenny Bruso and the work of Unlikely Hikers, as well as being inspired by communities like Fat Girls Hiking and All Bodies On Bikes.
